Gold Sells Off, Equities Bid: Wednesday's Market Forecast

Posted by TopstepTrader on September 27, 2017

My how everything can change in a few trading days. Just 14 days ago, Gold futures ($GCZ7) were making fresh yearly highs and bid above $1,360. Today, they can't catch a bid and have fallen to $1,287. What's changed? Not much - and a lot at the same time.

Over this same period, equity futures have hit all-time highs - which the Emini S&P 500 ($ESZ7) are testing early in Wednesday's trading. Is it time to buy the move or fade the rally?

Watch John Hoagland run down markets and levels that matter today.

(As a programming note, the Market Forecast will be taking a break tomorrow, September 28 but returning Friday, September 29.)
